My name is João Pedro and I’m a multiperiod Historical Reenactor, with a large focus on the Napoleonic Period and the Peninsular War.

I am joined by my partner, Tatiana, who was introduced to the world of reenactment when we first met. Since then, she has diligently studied primary sources to create her own civilian clothing and accessories.

Ars Recreandi began as a passion project aimed at establishing a new reenactment group, leveraging the extensive knowledge we’ve acquired through years of research and reenactment experience. It has since evolved into a professional endeavor.

Together, our work is grounded in historical sources to ensure authenticity and quality in our handcrafted products, encompassing both textiles and leatherwork.
