My name is João Pedro, and I started this project in 2024. I am a multiperiod Historical Reenactor, with a primary focus over the past eight years on the Napoleonic Era, particularly the Peninsular War.

I am joined by my partner, Tatiana, who was introduced to the world ofreenactment when we first met. Since then, she has diligently studied primary sources to create her own civilian clothing and accessories.

Ars Recreandi began as a passion project aimed at establishing a newreenactment group, leveraging the extensive knowledge I acquired through years of research and reenactment experience. It has since evolved into a professional endeavor.

Together, our work is grounded in historical sources to ensure authenticity and quality in our handcrafted products, encompassing both textiles and leatherwork.
