Handmade British style knapsack, for the late 18th century and early 19th century.

This item is crafted according to original examples.

It has 7 main leather straps, with brass buckles, and an aditional chest strap with buckle.

Made to order, with customer specifications. Can be coated with any colour requested.

This knapsack is apropriate for the Colonial and Revolutionary War period as well as the Napoleonic Wars.

It was used extensively by british, portuguese and spanish troops in the Peninsular War.

The example on the images above is representative of a Knapsack used by the Portuguese 1st Caçador Batallion between 1808 and 1814.

Default order is coated black without regimental markings.
